During the interview, Morinaka expressed that while the PSP and Vita versions of Toukiden was enjoyed by many, the presentation on PSP was limited due to the hardware.
Psycho Pass season two is in full swing and as usual, your favorite Editor in Chief is late to the game. So, things kind of pick up right where season one left off, albeit a bit too casually. In fact, the whole episode plays off like another day at the office. The surviving members of the original team are still in tact, with Akane in the lead.
Most notably Ginoza is now in a role of enforcers, and has gotten way more emo, and of course, Shinya is not to be found. The team is brought in to deal with an explosives expert whose Crime Coefficient is not really effected by their action. They of course come packing their sexy Dominators, and chase ensues.
Compile Heart's Vita game has been delayed.
The PlayStation 3 version will go for 7,120 yen while the Vita version will cost 6,170 yen.
There's no denying that piracy is rampant amongst anime and manga, which is deplorable given how affordable and accessible things are now. I know this makes me sound old, but you kids have no idea how good you have it. When I really began my dip into fandom hardcore, the cost and availability of things wasn't even a fraction of what people have access to now.
Behind every cell, drawing, and design is a person just trying to earn a wage. The pay for is deplorable at best, making it somewhat a labor of love for many mangaka and animators. If you like something, give it back the love that it deserves.
Final Fantasy VII G-Bike’s release is right around the corner in Japan.
The more I watch of Unlimited Blade Works, the more I'm convinced that everyone would've been better off if each episode were an hour long rather than the standard length. It'd work, even if the show became bi-weekly because of it.
If nothing else, Ufotable seem to be making their own episodes seemingly with that in mind, as the last two weeks have felt like the front and back halves of a single longer production. The unintended result is a week that comes across as very quiet, and possibly boring, followed up with delicious excitement lacking in real narrative progress.
A new video from the Dragon Quest Heroes stream shows Alena from Dragon Quest IV in the hack and slash RPG. While Alena looks like a magician or wizard, she's actually a monk-type character who has powerful physical attacks in Dragon Quest IV.
While Dragon Quest Heroes won't be out until February 26, 2015, the limited edition Metal Slime PlayStation 4 system is scheduled for December 11, 2014.
Dragon Quest Heroes, a Warriors style spinoff from Omega Force, brings together a bunch of characters from the RPG series including heroes from Dragon Quest IV.
Japan's PlayStation Store has a "free version" of The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Flash II which lets players go through the prologue chapter.
I am loving today's Dose! Two of my favorite contemporary Japanese music acts have teamed up for a fantastic new track. The indie rock fellas from Galileo Galilei have brought in the the sultry sounds of the always mysterious Aimer. The result is a smooth, yet upbeat rock track, perfect to enjoy the last of the warm weather that we've been treated to.
The track, Banana Fish no Hamabe to Kuroi Niji is paired with some interesting still imagery that is simple, yet effective. It's cute, charming, and endearing all at the same time. To make things fair, Kazuki Ozaki of GG remixed a track on Aimers new EP. A fantastic entry to what's been an amazing musical Fall so far.
