Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth Has A Persona Fusion System, Too

Characters in Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth will have access to sub-Personas, so you’ll be going through a bunch of different Personas as you level up and take on dungeons. This week’s issue of Famitsu magazine details how you’ll be able to power your Personas up and also trade them with other players.

 

While all the characters will have their main Personas, they’ll be able to attain sub-Personas which can be acquired by defeating enemies. This will benefit each character by giving them access to skills that aren’t available through their main Persona.

Xseed Will Try To Bring Ys: The Ark of Napishtim To PC

Ys: The Ark of Napishtim is another Falcom game that Xseed are interested in bringing to Steam, the publisher said on its Facebook page.

 

A fan recently asked if there would be any chance of Ys 6 being released on PC, and an Xseed representative replied, “We will definitely try.”

Classic Platformer Another World Is Being Released For Modern Consoles

Nintendo Everything reports that the seminal classic action-adventure game Another World is getting a 20th Anniversary edition on modern consoles soon.

 

The site spotted a rating on the USK, which is the German version of the ESRB. The rating indicates that the updated version of the game, which was released on smartphones and PC, will be heading to pretty much everything else now—Xbox 360, Xbox One, Nintendo 3DS, Wii U, PlayStation, PlayStation 4 and PS Vita.

New Live-Action Fatal Frame Movie Announced

Hot on the heels of the announcement of a new Fatal Frame game for Nintendo’s Wii U, we’ve got word of a new movie as well. The movie will be out this Fall in Japan, according to a report at Cinema Today.

 

The movie will cast Nakajo Ayami and Morikawa Aoi as two of the actors in the film. They’re both models from the Japanese magazine Seventeen. The movie is an adaptation of an adaptation—It will follow the novelized version of the original Fatal Frame—and will be set in an old Japanese-style dormitory.

Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment To Receive Major Update In July

Those of you looking forward to Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment (and yes, that now includes you guys in North America) will also have an update to look forward to. The game will be getting a major update in Japan this July. [Thanks, Game Jouhou.]

 

According to Game Jouhou’s report, a major update is scheduled for Hollow Fragment in July. This update will raise the level cap to 250, and will also add a new feature called “Grand Quests,” along with a new events, fields, and maps.

Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2 Dated For August 7th In Japan

Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2 will be released in Japan on August 7th, a recent issue of V Jump magazine reveals (thanks, Shonen Gamez).

 

The game will include a new mode called “Ultimate Universe Mode,” but details on this front haven’t been provided yet.

Picross e4 Coming To North America

The fourth game in the Picross e series is headed to North America next week. Picross e4 will be available via the Nintendo eShop on May 1st. (Thanks, GoNintendo)

 

After being seeing the feature requested by fans, Jupiter have added new 20×15 puzzles to the game, along with Micross and Mega Picross modes with new puzzles.

 

A price for the game has not yet been announced.

Mario Golf: World Tour’s DLC Courses Detailed

As reported earlier in the week, Mario Golf: World Tour will have downloadable content that will add new courses and characters to the game. Three DLC packs will be available for $5.99 each, and each one will contain two new courses with 18 holes each. Each pack will also come with a new character.

 

Further details on these DLC packs are now available courtesy of Nintendo’s Japanese branch. We now know what courses each DLC pack contains, and have images of them alongside character screenshots. You can find the information below.

More free downloadable content is headed to Ragnarok Odyssey Ace in North America this week, including a Gravity Rush Set that lets you dress as Kat or Alias. Here’s a description of each DLC set from Xseed:

 

  • Special Quest 1: Includes two new quests, “Blade of the Inhuman” and “Blade of the Inhuman 2.” Complete them, and you’ll stock the smithy with special new Halomonas weapons! (You must progress a certain distance into the story before these quests become available to play at the Quest Counter.)

A new Nurse Costume DLC set for Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate is now available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The set is currently available to 360 owners worldwide and PS3 owners in North America. PS3 users in Europe will see the DLC later today.

 

 

The Nurse Costume set costs $14.99. It adds costumes for Kasumi, Ayane, Lei Fang, Hitomi, Momiji, Kokoro, Mila, Helena, Tina and Christie.

As reported earlier in the week, Persona 4’s Rise Kujikawa is now a playable character in the game, and a Shadow variant of Rise will make an appearance as well. There’s speculation that the game’s story will somehow connect to that of Persona 4: Dancing All Night, but no details are available on this front.
